The latest teams to enter the Professional Women’s Hockey League — PWHL Seattle and PWHL Vancouver — unveiled their home and away jerseys, as well as team colors, on Tuesday, a month ahead of the expansion clubs’ opening game.
The city names of each team are stitched diagonally across the front of the sweaters, similar to what the league’s first six teams wore in their inaugural season.
Team names and logos are set to be introduced before the season begins next month and incorporated into the design of uniforms for the 2026-27 season.
“As we welcome Seattle and Vancouver to the league, we wanted their jerseys to prominently feature each city’s name across the front, allowing fans to immediately identify with their hometown’s newest professional team,” said Amy Scheer, PWHL executive vice president of business operations. “These designs also connect our expansion teams to the league’s foundation while they continue building their own traditions and ties to the community.”
The colors of the Seattle franchise — officially described as “deep slate green and cream with a river blue accent” — mimic the blue and green theme used by other pro sports teams in the city.
